By installing, accessing, or using Web Highlighter Pro, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the extension.
2. Product Description
Web Highlighter Pro is a Chrome extension that allows users to select text on webpages, apply visual highlights, save notes locally, search saved highlights, filter notes by website, and export notes as TXT or Markdown.
3. License and Paid Access
Web Highlighter Pro may offer free usage limits and paid lifetime access. A valid license key may be required to unlock paid features. License verification and payment processing may be handled through Lemon Squeezy.
License keys are intended for the purchaser's own use and may not be resold, shared publicly, or used to bypass payment restrictions.
4. Local Data Storage
Web Highlighter Pro stores saved highlights, source page titles, source URLs, usage count, and license status locally in the user's browser through chrome.storage.local.
Web Highlighter Pro does not operate a custom backend database for storing user notes. Users are responsible for exporting or backing up their notes if needed.
5. User Responsibility
You are responsible for the content you choose to highlight, save, export, or use. You agree not to use Web Highlighter Pro for unlawful activity, infringement, harassment, abuse, or violation of third-party rights.
6. Website Compatibility
Web Highlighter Pro depends on browser APIs and the structure of webpages. Some websites, restricted browser pages, dynamic web applications, or pages with complex rendering may not support visual highlight restoration perfectly.
On some dynamic pages, refreshing the page may be required to restore visual highlights accurately.
7. Payments and Refunds
Payments, license delivery, and related billing operations may be processed by Lemon Squeezy. Refunds, when applicable, are handled according to the payment processor's policies and the product's refund terms at the time of purchase.

Your use of Web Highlighter Pro is also governed by our Privacy Policy: Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Web Highlighter Pro is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the extension will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every website, or available at all times.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Web Highlighter Pro and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of business opportunities arising from your use of the extension.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of Web Highlighter Pro after changes means you accept the updated terms.
